Typical Spanish Tours

For Spain we have a more Spain centric or more wine centric tour in mind. The more classic tour would cost around 6000 USD per person and the more wine centric 6500. Duration like France and Germany tours. 12days.
Tour Option 1: The more Spain Centric starts in Bilbao, traverses Rioja and Ribera del Duero, visits Madrid and ends in Barcelona
Tour Option 2: The best Spanish Wines. Fly to Bilbao and transfer immediately to Rioja. Then go to Ribera, arrive in Madrid and tke high speed train to Jerez de la Frontera to taste sherry. Then go from there to Barcelona to taste Priorat and Cava. End in Barcelona.

Why you should visit Spain

The Food

Centuries of Roman and Arab domination and centuries of pilfering products from their American colonies have heavily shaped the food world in Spain. Cheeses, meats and dishes have gained from centuries of positive influences from all over the world. Today Spain boasts a wide array of the world's best restaurants and Michelin Star temples. Restaurants like Arzak, Asador Etxebarri, Martin Berastegui, Mugaritz and Celler de Can Roca make foodies all over the world perk their ears.

The Wine

Wines from Ribera del Duero, Rioja and Priorat are a well known origin for every wine lover. BUt there are also the sparkling wine, cava, cellars of Penedes, the wines of Castilla and Navarra, and the sherries of Andalucia to talk and drink about.

The Culture

For all this Spain offers an impressive visual impact with architecture of the most antique morisque to the ultra modern buildings by Santiago Calatrava and Norman Foster. The art museums in Bilbao and Madrid and the open air museum like feel one gets when walking through Madrid and Barcelona and others, make Spain one of the most appreciated tourist destinations in the world. And then there is the nature of Central Spain passing by the windows of one of the fastest and cheapest train systems in the world (our tour benefits tremendously from the AVE-bullet train, as we feel that to see Spain properly the train is the best way to cover long distances, and beats the plane in almost any category, but in time, being less than half an hour slower than planes from Madrid to Sevilla for instance).
