Chef JC has worked in several restaurants in Austin, owned his own peruvian restaurant, which closed due to the pandemic. During the pandemic Chef JC developed Biru, a new concept of Peruvian chef prepared ingredients, Peruvian cooking classes and caterings. He appeared in the Food Network Channel to explain how to prepare real Peruvian cebiche.
Chef JC will take us to his home country, delight us with a cebiche preparation class aboard a yacht cruising the bay of Lima. He will prepare the last meal for the group in peru as well. During the tour through Peru he will share his memories of growing up in Peru, making his first entries into the kitchen world and more. We will accompany him on a chef style shopping trip through the produce market in Lima.
