Chef Johann Schuster has owned restaurants in Europe, the US and the Americas for the last 35 years. He has cooked, trained cooks and consulted in over 10 countries world wide. From 2001 till 2018 he owned high end restaurant Charivari in Houston and co-owned Loroco Cafe in El Salvador.
Chef Schuster takes us on a tour through his former area of action in Southwest Germany. He will cook Alsatian flatbreads in his parents backyard, use kitchens of chefs he has known for over 30 years and take us on a shopping trip to the Chefs Market he used to buy at, when he had a restaurant for over 10 years close to Baden-Baden, that was even visited by Michelin critics.

From Bucharest to Vienna, we will follow the footsteps of Chef Schusters beginnings. He was born in a village close to Medias in Transylvannia and learned his first strokes of a laddle in the technical school there and later in the Chef School in Sibiu. Albeit he never cooked for Count Dracula we will also visit the Dracula Castle in Bran. After eight days in Romania, we will finish the tour with two days in classic Vienna.
