Our Proposed Tours and Costs

Due to increased inquiries for groups of only 4-6 travelers we are now launching some of our tours, also in a ultra-small group size. Germany, France, Peru and Mexico City are the first locations we will be offering ultra-small group tours to. As an idea on the cost point, depending on the tour of course, the cost for a group of 4-6 will be 25% higher, per person, than that of a group of 8-10.

For Germany our proposed tours are four:
* Germany Food and Wine: Starting in Berlin, then Cologne, the Ahr Valley wine, the Mosel Valley wine, the Pfalz and ending in the Bavarian Alps and Munich. Costs: 6500 USD per person in group of 8-10 and 8150 USD for group of 4-6
* Germany Wine: Visit and Try wine from all the 13 wine regions of Germany, starting in Berlin, going to Saxony and Saale Unstrut Wine Regions, then to Cologne to cover the Ahr Valley and work our way through the other 10 wine regions, mostly in western Germany. Finish the tour in Stuttgart. Costs: 6900 USD for group of 8-10 and 8650 for a group of 4-6.
* Germany Beer: Visit and try beers in the main beer regions of Germany. Koelsch in Cologne, Alt in Duesseldorf, Export in Dortmund, Berliner Weisse in Berlin, Rauchbier in Bamberg, visit the hop fields of the Hallertau and all the BAvarian beers in Munich. Can be paired with the Oktoberfest every year from mid September to early October (additional costs of aprox. 1000 USD per person). Costs: 6000 USD per person in group of 8-10 and 7500 USD in group of 4-6
* German Beer and Wine: Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Bavarian Alps, Munich. See all the highlights of Germany and taste the best local beers and wines.

Why you should visit Germany

The Food

Although most people think of Germany as country of sausages and sauerkraut, Germany has long past the stadium where the preservation of food was the only way to eat plenty during the year. Today Germany has the second most Michelin Star restaurants after neighboring France. One of the Germans most attributed idiosincracies, meticulous work, is a huge advantage in the modern kitchen. But Germany, as an imigration country, is also home to people from all over the world and they bring their cuisine with them.

The Wine

Germany is identified mostly with beer, but wine, which has been planted here since the Roman times, has a reputation among those in the know, that rivals that of France, Italy or other "wine-countries". Not only has Germany moved beyond the sweet Rieslings of the past, to a great food-friendly dry style, but thanks also to global warming, Germany is today home to a production of nearly 40% of red wine, with Pinot Noir being the most planted red grape and second to Riesling. But there are also Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlots, St. Laurent and several mostly german varietals in the reds that are getting better year to year.

The Beer

The German beer purity law of 1516, the foundation of several german style breweries throughtout the world and the Oktoberfest, are most likely the reasons why most of the world identifies beer with Germany. And German beer is truly a joy, including the culture and the food that surrounds it. Pils, Koelsch, Alt, Dunkles and Helles are the most widespread styles and our tour will take us through the regions where these beers are brewed and drunk (Cologne, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden, Munich and Frankfurt).

The Germans

Germans used to have a pretty bad reputation. But since the reunification, the soccer world cup and other larger events in Germany, Germans have made up their reputation and are regarded as very welcoming and friendly. Berlin has been one of the top ten tourist destinations in the world for the last ten years.

The Culture

The cultural heritage of Germany is no doubt almost unparalled in the world. Music, Literature, opera and theater all have a high rank worldwide. The architecture from over five centuries and the museums dedicated to history are unique.

The Technology

Technology is a quality also closely associated with Germany and we will expose you to some forms of it during the tour.
